Dear frog recruiting team,
I am reaching out today to express my interest in the open positions of experience and interaction designers at frog, Mexico City. As a product designer with a background in Communication and media arts, I believe my passion for innovative experiences will make me an ideal candidate to work at frog in Mexico City.
My hybrid and international background, which greatly informs my work as a UX designer, could add great value to the frog team. Originally from Spain, I am now based in Mexico City. Among others, I have lived in Chicago, Illinois where I received a Master in Fine Arts in Photography (MFA) from the School of the Art Institute Chicago.
Having three years experience as a freelance designer, photographer, retoucher and video editor, I participated in the UX/UI bootcamp at Ironhack Barcelona. Throughout this intensive program, I have put into practice my design thinking, UX research and collaboration skills by applying agile and iterative methodologies. I have also mastered tools such as Sketch and Invision as you can see in projects such as the Uncloud app. Furthermore, I have also worked on site redesigns such as the New Dawn project and coded the new version of the site using HTML and CSS.
In addition to my UX experience, I have participated in Fab Academy 2018 at the Fab Lab Barcelona in order to acquire digital fabrication skills. This has enabled me to make interactive installations through programming languages such as Arduino C++ and Processing. Because of this and my work as a designer and editor, I am highly proficient in the use of Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Premiere Pro and other software such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and AfterEffects among many others. This completes my tool stack, which I believe, would be a unique asset to create new opportunities at frog.
